First Lutheran Church enjoys a rich liturgical tradition.  We truly love the liturgy and the ways that it draws us together.

We worship in a very traditional style, celebrating the ways that we can seasonally accent different elements of worship.  We are traditional, yet not stuffy, and enjoy lifting up different seasons of the church year in our worship life together.

We enjoy the worship team each 2nd Sunday of the month, which brings a guitar, drums, keyboard, and more of a “contemporary” style.

Children are an active part of our life together.  We encourage parents to bring children to church with them to worship.  (We truly want them there.)  Sometimes though, parents need a break and we understand that – so we provide nursery care each Sunday.  A special children’s offering is collected each Sunday (supporting Habitat for Humanity) and the kids love to get out of the pew and stretch their legs for a few minutes.
